The DLRP Disneyland Resort Paris
Elongated Coin Guide

This pressed penny guide for Disneyland Resort Paris features all known Disneyland Resort Paris elongated coins, pressed pennies or medal souvenirs issued and located "outside the gates" on Disneyland Resort Paris owned or controlled properties. As of this date, no coins have been reported inside any gate at Disneyland Resort Paris. However, at one time, there were two penny press machines at the Sequoia Lodge Hotel offering six pressed pennies. (The machines pressed United States of America cents.) Also, as of this writing, there are two elongated coin machines at the Rainforest Cafe Restaurant. Each coin press offers four pressed five cent Euro coin designs. All these coins are listed in this guide.

Please excuse (embrace, enjoy, tolerate) our informality. Although we are (repeatedly) told the preferred numismatic term is "Elongated Coins!", some rebellious, devil-may-care ParkPennies.com contributors are known to use more casual, fun terms like: pressed pennies, flattened pennies, crushed pennies, squashed pennies, rolled pennies, mashed pennies, smashed pennies, stamped pennies, squished pennies, smushed pennies, stretched pennies, memory pennies, keepsake pennies, flat pennies, and souvenir to describe these fun, French, penny and Euro coin novelties.

In a futile attempt to keep some degree of sanity in our guide prefix system, these elongated coins have the prefix of DLRP. Please keep in mind that all these coins are from the "Resort Area", outside the gates of the Disneyland Resort Paris, but, on DLRP property. If in the future, elongated coins are issued from inside a gate, a separate prefix will used as we do for Disneyland, Anaheim with "DR" for Disneyland Resort, "DL" for Disneyland and "CA" for California Adventure.
