The Vintage Disneyland pressed pennies from 1987-2005 often feature iconic images, themes and neat collectable sets. Here I've displayed one that is listed here on the second page of the DL guide, the Vintage Snow White set. It's one of the many fun sets that has been at Disneyland Park. It's not the only Snow White pressed penny set ever onstage at Disneyland. But, just take a look at the quality of these coins! Not only do they have a terrific Disney theme, but, I'd say the engraving is some of the best that has ever been at the park. These coins were hand engraved by Mr. Jimmy Vargas, the Master Engraver at Eurolink. Many people have said that he made the name for Disneyland in the elongated coin world. When lesser locations offered flat, poorly done pressed coins with little detail, these gems were waiting for guests at Disneyland.

They were retired years ago, but, you can still spot them for sale or trade now and then. It could be a bit of a scavenger hunt. But, chances are you'll have a lot of fun doing it! When you're done, you'll have a really nice set of pressed pennies that will remind you of the adventure and, in time, the nostalgia of pressed pennies. Maybe frame them? Well, I'm getting a bit gabby again. So, let me close in saying I think the Snow White pressed penny set makes one of the many great mini Disney collections, even with the Wicked Witch.

A long time Disneyland Cast Member told Robert Hoff that there was an issue with the "USA" inscribed on the coin. When seen by "Management", the die was pulled and replaced by a "PARK" inscribed die, DL0057. At the Pendleton Mill Shop, Frontierland, button "C".
