9/01/06 It seems Tokyo Disneyland is issuing new coins faster than we can keep up! We are very fortunate to have Kuniaki Hiraki reporting from Japan. Here is his very timely news:
Monthly medals were released on September 1, 2006 at TDR .
TDL Penny Arcade monthly medal --The Queen of Hearts.
TDL Starcade monthly medal --Dory.
TDS Galleria monthly medal --Donald.
Also:
Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare begins on September 4
and Special Event, Disney Halloween, begins on September 12.
New medals are expected.

9/04/06 Another new coin report was just received from Kuniaki Hiraki!

I have good news and bad news.
Today , September 04, 2006, is The TDS 5th anniversary.
The Tower of Terror is open. The Tower of Terror design medal was released at Steamboat Mickey’s. However, unfortunately the Legend of Mythica disappeared.
The TDL Haunted Mansion Holiday Nightmare started on September 04, 2006 but a medal was not released.
Probably it seems that it will be released with the Halloween event on September 12, 2006. If there is any change, I will report it.

9/12/06 Another new coin report was just received from Kuniaki Hiraki ! Four Halloween coins!
To see these coins today, please visit Kuniaki’s excellent web site. The ParkPennies TDL, TDR, TDS guides and the Coins of the Month page were updated recently. The Halloween coins will be added soon. Those guys are really busy at Tokyo Disneyland aren’t they?

11/02/06 Kuniaki Hiraki Has reported eight new TDR coins! He has generously sent pictures and we hope to have them up soon.
11/20/06 The Tokyo Disneyland Park Guide, The Tokyo Disneyland Resort Guide and The Tokyo DisneySea Guides are all updated. Also, the page and the associated thumbnail pages. We should have December coins of the month soon. Best of the season and Happy Thanksgiving!

12/03/06 Disneyland Anaheim has some very nice coins and sets, back stamps and other firsts. But, The Tokyo Disneyland Resort has Coins of the Month! Very cool! Here are some thumbnail images of the complete collection through November, 2006. As you can see, there are coins from Tokyo DisneySea as well as Tokyo Disneyland in this collection.
If you are looking for collecting ideas, here is one of my favorites!
